Skull Crusher
Scott Hartman’s 2008 Street Glide
I had seen this bike floating around Facebook and Instagram, posted by a few people but nobody knew the owner. I stumbled into #Harley Riders on Facebook and I saw someone post the same bike but in an earlier stage of the build. I asked and sure enough it was the owner, Scott Hartman. I was able to get owner information and the specs on this incredible build. This bike is awesome from the rear lighting to the dashboard. Scott did not waste any resources getting it built as you can tell. Scott himself as a person is very cool and laid back, a humble kind of guy. This bike lucked out with a good owner. Introducing – Skull Crusher. A heavily modified 2008 Street Glide. Scott Harman and Skull Crusher’s information is below and damn worth reading about this bike.

“My love of motorcycles started when I was very young. I got my first dirt bike at the age of 7 and I was hooked. I’ve had many bikes since then but this was my first Harley and first bagger. Skull Crusher started as a basically stock Street Glide that I picked up locally. I rode it for a few months and then started customizing the stereo and handlebars which led to bigger things like air ride and performance mods and then was quickly followed by the obsession of building a big wheel bagger. My 16 year old son Cody took interest and it became a father and son project that got bigger and more complex as we went along. Ideas for the build were usually started by my son saying, “you know dad, what you’re doing is cool but you know what would be AWESOME??!!?!” Plans for the twin turbo motor shortly followed one of those conversations! The bike was built by Cody and I in our two car garage. We stripped it down and pulled the motor and took it to Wolfgang at Mutant Motors by Wolf to have the motor bullet proofed for the turbos. The custom tank skins, dash, side covers, bags and fender were provided by TOL and were fitted and prepped for paint. The neck was cut and body worked for a slick look. Julio Seisdedos from Pasadena, TX was given the bike next to lay down some sick Viking graphics with a zombie twist. Every painted piece on the bike has some kind of airbrushing on it. We joke that you can stare at the bike for hours and still find something you missed. After the paint was done and the motor was put back in it was taken to my neighbor, Justin Williams for his turbo fabrication magic. Justin fitted the turbos, built a custom intercooler, a custom chin spoiler that actually supports the intercooler and beautifully welded piping for the intake and exhaust. The seat pan was sent to Butch Watson at High Rollers for his custom touch while the custom stereo supplied by Low Life Customs was installed. Cody installed the front and rear air ride system and the SOB center stand while the one-off train horn set up was plumbed up behind the left saddlebag. It was definitely an awesome bonding project for my son and I and plans are in the works for his first custom bike. Hopefully his ideas for this one are just as wild as they were for the last! As for now, we enjoy riding and showing it all over Texas and was able to take it to the 75th anniversary of Daytona Bike Week where it broke a lot of necks!” – Scott Hartman
